The detail are as following 9am to 2pm,if there is enough people we might have buses to from the bus to the venue which is at Playground @ Big Splash, East CoastPark.

Singapore Red Cross Society (SRCS) will be organising the Red Cross Carnival this year in celebration of our 60 years of Humanitarian Services.

The Carnival is planned on Saturday, 1 August 2009 at Playground @ Big Splash, East CoastPark. A well-known local celebrity, Edmund Chen will be our Guest-of-Honour.

Red Cross Walk
This is an Inaugural walk from Marine Cove to Playground @ Bigsplash covering a distance of
about 1.2km. This walk signifies ONE RED CROSS MOVEMENT comprising diversified groups of
volunteers and members coming together as ONE to serve humanity.

Banner Competition
Schools are welcome to design a banner to the theme “Singapore Red Cross – Celebrating 60
Years of Humanitarian Services” for the walk and the best banner design’s school can walk offwith the best banner design competition.

Community Outreach Project
As chaperons for children beneficiariesand at the same time be treated to lots of fun, games and friendship!

Youth Celebration (REDFEST)
We will be having a stage performance segment where your school can showcase your creative
talent through either song, dance or drama item performance in front of a public audience!Together, our array of performances will lead to the crescendo of the Carnival.

Games Station
Take on the role of games masters in our Carnival games and have lots of fun while at it!
